Infrastructure & process of Milling

The process of a flour milling industry for grinding of wheat into wheat products is divided into four sections

SIF is the only mill in Southern India to have Wheat Silos equipped with the cleaning machinery from Switzerland with the storage capacity of 2500 Mts of wheat wherein wheat is directly unloaded from the lorries & containers-cleaned and tored.	Selected quality Wheat, Gram dall, Ragi, Urad dall, Rice & Samba Wheat are delivered by lorries and unloaded at Silos. .
	We are equipped with the most modern Swiss [Buhler plant] & UK [Simon plant] plants and continually upgrading the plants in order to keep up to our tradition in excellence of supplying quality flour to consumers. All types of impurities such as chaffs, stones iron particles, broken grains and dust particles are removed in the cleaning section before storage in the silo bins and later while bringing them from Silos to milling section for grinding.
	Milling – grinding of wheat - which is 24 hrs. continuously running process Wherein finished products such as wheat flour (Maida), Sooji (Semolina), Atta, whole wheat Atta, wheat germ are produced.
	Packing & forwarding – different products are packed in polypropylene (PP) or gunny bags as per customers' specifications & loaded to lorries and delivered to their destinations. A Godown of about 5,800 Sq.ft. area is exclusively used for packing Wheat Flour (Maida)
Our gunny printing unit wherein gunnies are cleaned and printed in automatic four colour printing Machine imported from Germany
	We have warehousing facility of 30,000.00 sq.ft. in our factory premises with computerised weighment systems and our own fleet of lorries (15 nos.) which are used for moving raw material and finished goods incoming and outgoing from the factory
Laboratory is the focal point of the quality control system which analyses samples from each stream of production line round the clock and keeps check on quality of our product.
